Now this will seem a little unorthodox,
I don’t want to play with your mind.
Not trying to twist you in a paradox,
Just trying to shed light where you are blind.
Your eyes are deceived by the future,
For the path ahead is too bright.
So stop looking, and feel what is true.
Caution thy senses, only your heart knows right
Believe in your soul
Let it guide you through pain
Don’t let others take control
For its your life to reign
Listen not with ears, see not with eyes
Live life as you, keep no disguise.

I really enjoyed the rhythm of this poem and I thought your word choices were great! My favorite part was the ending, “Live life as you, keep no disguise.” Always good to be reminded of that!
