Trust me I know a lot of things,
Maybe it’s not you who is wrong.
Justice will not be safe with beatings,
Cops aren’t the one who is all along.
But it’s an unspoken truth,
That is forespoken by ancestors.
Haven’t we’ve had a bad wrath?
Well, with Donald Trump it’s executors.
Each and every day we’re inspired,
To do many things with our lives.
The pursuit of happiness is expired,
Just like it’s becoming all so many lies.
Opening to closing,
We are Americans.
That is very wrong,
What’s with the beatings?
Police brutalities,
One after another.
An unspoken truth lies,
Beneath its exterior.
Inhale and exhale,
Hung off the ground coldblooded.
What’s with betrayal?
With a noose, we’re harming bodied.
Every day we are alive,
It’s an unspoken truth.
Expiration dates all the time,
Haven’t we’ve become?
Hangover with the drug feins,
We ain’t playing when we shoot up.
And the drugs are still competing,
I hope we can’t get rid of them it’s tough.
Give me days upon all overdosages,
What’s with all the deaths all day long?
There’s never a pursuit of happiness,
Overkilled with police brutalities is so wrong.

I enjoyed reading this piece. You touched on some very important, and very relevant issues. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I think one of the most powerful lines is, “Expiration dates all the time…”
