i like this haiku, but I think I am confused. What does the second line mean?

Thank you, Barnard. Obviously, Anna isn’t a gambler. Sadly, I am. Yeah, I’ve gambled everything away, except for my shoes. So I keep on walking…naked. And every few miles I’ll be pulling out my little thumb …… or to take a real break ….. ummm …… pull out my wee wee behind a nearby bush by the highway …… ahhhh ….. now I feel ‘bettor!’
And if I’m ‘lucky’ someone does pick me up …. ” I’m going to Vegas!”
