A town the people sad
No one this town chose
How each got here no one knows
Sadness and tears fill the night air
Days are dreary, Broken Hearts-Ville
No road into this town of hurt
One road leaving only to a dead end
No children this town much too sad
Most here will never love again
Stuck in Broken Hearts-Ville and no return
Only one escape and that is to love again
Population growing, but there’s no excitement
No new buildings, no celebrating ..hearts-broken
Friday. Saturday nights bring painful memories
The fun that use to be, now Broken Hearts-Ville
Almost like a prison with invisible bars
Boundries no one sees, yet there never the less
No dances or town events to have a good time
Times in this town redundant and pain limitless
Every day just another sad day, Broken-Hearts-Ville!!

This would be a depressing place. Excellent job conveying that! You don’t think children can have broken hearts too?
Yes children innocent are the most sad victims from broken relationships and broken marriages, but this poem very sad ..I like to think of children playing with smiles and laughing and for a little while those that do suffer and hurt can forget home troubles. I purposely left children out ..even though not reality. thanks for reading and your comment
