The group travveled on until they came to a wooden blockade in the road. Finding this unusua sight in such a remote part of the woods, Drevon drew his sword, as did Jason. Ellestria looked around, and prepared herself to slash at any who would dare come too close with her claws. Suddenly, as they walked forward, a group of men, armed with daggers and crude swords, leapt out of the bushes. One accidentally got too close to the trio, and found his hand severed by the quick swipe of Jason’s sword. The men recoiled, and the three thought that they wouldn’t advance, when out of nowhere, three darts shot into thier necks. A strange sense of warmth came over them, and the whole world spun, before the three blacked out…
They awoke in the back of a cart, face down, and it felt like the cart was trundling slowly over cobblestone, as it bumped and bounced along. Drevon sat up and found that his legs and hands were tied. He tried to loosen his bonds, before recieving a heavy smack on the back of his head by the driver. He looked at his friends, who were imilarly bound, besides Ellestria, who had a dirty leather muzzle clasped over her mouth. Upon looking out of the cart, he saw that they were being pulled into a dark tunnel which looked to be inside a castle. “A dungeon,” he thought. Once inside, they were forcefully thrown from the cart and onto the wet, stony ground. They were then dragged down the slimy hole which was yet another tunnel, and thrown into a dark, dripping cage that smelled of mold and urine. Thier bonds were removed, and the three were free to then move about the cage. It was rusted, and looked to be on its last legs, but the lock was new, and quite strong. “Well, what are we to do now? Our weapons are gone!” Jason said, giving the door a solid kick. “You know that isn’t going to budge right?” said a hoarse voice from the corner. The three turned quickly, not realizing that someone was even there to begin with. There was a man in the corner, covered with straw and mud, and holding some kind of bowl with a purple goo inside. He was dressed in nothing but a leather cuirass and pants, and a tattered green cloak. He grinned a toothy grin, and took a bite of the stuff in his hands, throwing his head back with a sigh of what appeared to be ecstacy. “You know, I could open that probably, if i wanted to, but I don’t,” The man said with a laugh. “What? what kind of prisoner doesn’t want to leave?” Dreon asked. “Especially in a place like this?” The man grinned and laughed again, holding up the bowl. “It’s cause if your really good, they’ll give you some of this, Starwater they call it. Like rain from heaven,” He declared. “So you would really keep us here just to get your drug?” Jason asked, dumbfounded. The man nodded, grinning still. “Yea, pretty much,” he said. “You are a disgrace,” Ellestria said, clearly annoyed. “Hey now, It is my choice,” The man said. Jason suddenly stepped forward, and looked the man in the eyes. “Why, you sure are a pretty one,” The man chuckled. Jason bent down to the mans hunched form. “You like your drugs right?” He asked. The man nodded. “What would you say to going somewhere where they make it?” He said. The man’s heavily dialated eyes look at Jason in wonder. “Really?” He asked. “”Oh yes, in fact, I have been there myself, and it is everything you could want and more,” Jason replied with a grin. “Starwater?” The man asked. Jason nodded. “Beautiful women?” The man asked agian. Jason nodded yet agian. “All the food and drink a man could ask for?” The man asked. Jason nodded. “Alright, count me in!” The man said, standing up rather quickly. “Oh, and by the way,” He said. The three waited for him to finish his sentance. He just stood there, looking rather stupid. “Well?” Ellestria asked. The man shook his head. “Oh, yes, I’m John, John Freegood,” he replied, and pulled out a small stick of bone from his pocket. “That wasn’t taken from you?” Devon asked. John laughed. “This whole town’s so addicted to starwater now, I’m suprised they even remember how to count to three, much less search people,” He said. Drevon laughed at the irony, as he didn’t expect John to be able to count to three himself. Soon, the door was opened, and the three crept up to the door. “Alright, now, we may have to fight our way out. Our weapons are over there if I remember right,” John said, staggering a bit agianst the wall. The three snuck across the room, and retrieved thier weapons, but just as they were about to leave the building, they saw the emanciated form of John climb atop a pile of barrels, and in a loud voice yell out, “Now, you buffoons, where might a man get a bite and a drink?!” Drevon sighed, and drew his sword, as a line of alerted guards streamed through the doors. It was going to be a long trip with this guy.

I’m so intrigued! Can’t wait until the next installment. I do suggest that you start new dialogue (whenever a new person starts talking) on a new line, always. That’s proper formatting and makes it so much easier to read!
Thank you for the feedback. I’ll definitly work on that. 🙂
