Ingredients:
*1 cup of shortening
*1 cup of sugar packed
*1/2 cup sugar
*1 tsp of vanilla
*2 eggs
*2 cups of flour
*1 tsp baking soda
*1 tsp of salt
*3/4 cup of chopped nuts
*2 cups of chocolate chips
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2) Cream together shortening, sugars, and vanilla until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
3) Add eggs and combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
4) Blend into shortening mix; stir chocolate chips and nuts.
5) Drop cookie mixture at teaspoon sizes, at least 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet.
6) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the bottoms of the cookies are light brown.
