To rejoice amid rapacious heat. To employ the fiery rings of iron coils upon my palm. Kisses of rose scented hair passing my face as hallucination grasps hold of my mind. Unaware- No. Unburdened by the searing self inflicted masturbatory act of which I bare the marks now and forever to come. Attack my body so it may have purpose. If only for a moment.

Your vocabulary is impressive – specifically the word “rapacious.” I enjoyed your imagery here, images like “fiery rings of iron coils” and “kisses of rose scented hair passing my face” are great when it comes to imagining what is happening. The ending really stuck with me – it packs a punch. “Attack my body so it may have purpose” is quite a claim in itself but to follow it up with “if only for a moment” is like a second punch to the face. It’s incredibly effective and I really enjoyed reading the poem.
