Your smile is so intoxicating,
those piercing blue eyes of yours send shock waves to my heart,
am I in love or in a trans?
I can’t help but smile at your quirky humor.
Sometimes I feel like you can see straight through my soul,
You strip my thoughts bare, and expose my emotions on to the surface.
am I in love or is this an illusion?
Your awkwardness is endearing, your playful mannerism is adorable.
Sometimes I feel like there is a mutual attraction,
maybe we both want to explore this danger territory of passion.
am I in love or is this the trick of the mind?
I await for a physical affirmation of a mutual interest,
but I don’t see any physical indication, just an emotional one…..a sensual one.
am I in love or is it just pure lust?
maybe it is a figment of my imagination.
perhaps I am not in love, just delusional.

I enjoyed your writing style with this poem. The questioning of whether the feelings were love every few lines made it feel like this was really the thought process of the narrator as they try to figure out what the truth is. Great work.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it.
