What is the purpose of this website?
This website provides a platform that allows writers to post anything, publish often and share their writings with the world. It allows readers to explore, admire and comment on others’ writing.
Does this website cost anything?
This website is free for all users. Make sure you sign up for an account!
Do I need to create an account?
Yes, you will need an account in order to create posts and comment on others’ posts, but you are able to explore and read content without an account.
What can I post on the website?
You can post writings that are fiction or not, short stories about almost anything, poems, dramas, comics, essays, papers, articles, news, commentaries and autobiographies.
Is there a word count limit?
No limit, the sky’s the limit. We do recommend posting a chapter at a time if you’re thinking of writing a book, for easy navigation and reading.
How do I set up an account?
Step 1: Click the “Sign In” button on the upper right corner on the main page.
Step 2: Click the “Sign Up” button to get started.
Step 3: Fill out the information and agree to the “Terms and Conditions”. Click the “Join” button which will send out an email to the email address provided.
Step 4: You should receive an email. Click the link in the email to activate your user account. Once activated, you will receive another email with your login information. You just created an account and can now start posting, publishing and sharing your writings. Please email to admin@noaheducationfund.org if you have any issues or questions.
How do I change my password and email?
Step 1: First you must be logged in.
Step 2: After you have logged in, click “Profile” in the upper right hand corner of the website. This will bring you to your profile page.
Step 3: Click “Edit Profile”, and it will allow you to make changes to your password and email.
Step 4: After making your changes, click “Update”.
How do I post writings?
Posting and publishing your writings on Noahwriting is simple. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Make sure you are logged in.
Step 2: After logging in, click the “Post” button on the upper right corner to create a new post.
Step 3: Enter the title and content of your writings and upload a picture. The picture is optional but highly recommended. The system will automatically take the first 250 characters of your writing. Click the “Submit” button to post and publish your writing.
You now have published your post and you can share it on your social media accounts.
Where can I view all my post?
Step 1: First you must be logged in.
Step 2: After you have logged in, click the profile button located on the top right corner of the page.
Step 3: Once you complete Step 2, you can view all past and present posts on your profile page.
How do I edit one of my posts?
Step 1: First you must be logged in.
Step 2: After you have logged in, click “Profile” in the upper right hand corner of the website. This will bring you to your profile page with all of your previous posts.
Step 3: In the bottom right hand corner of each post, there is an “Edit” button next to a pencil icon. Click “Edit”, and it will allow you to make changes to the title, content, genre, etc.
Step 4: After making your changes, click “Submit”.
How do I subscribe to an author?
Step 1: Make sure you are logged in
Step 2: Search for the author’s name and click it or click on the author’s name on any post.
Step 3: Once on the author’s page, click the “Subscribe” button located on the top of the page.
You can subscribe to as many authors as you like by repeating steps 1-3. Once done, you’re able to review all subscriptions by clicking the “subscription” tab on the main page.
How can I share my posts on social media?
Simply click the social media link buttons found on the right side of the page.
Who owns the copyright?
Noahwriting does not own the copyright to the writings posted on our website. The authors have complete ownership of and rights to their writings.
How do I submit a copyright complaint?
If you believe your copyright-protected work was posted on this website without authorization, please email us and we will remove it from our website. Under our “Terms and Conditions”, the authors are solely responsible for their own content and the consequences of submitting and publishing their content on the site.
What is copyright?
In many jurisdictions, when a person creates an original work that is fixed in a physical medium, he or she generally automatically owns the copyright to the work. The owner has the exclusive right to use the work in certain, specific ways.
What is fair use?
Fair use is a legal doctrine that says you can reuse copyright-protected material under certain circumstances without getting permission from the copyright owner. In the United States, works of commentary, criticism, research, teaching or news reporting might be considered fair use.
What is the public domain?
Works eventually lose their copyright protection and are said to fall into the “public domain”, making them free for everyone to use. It typically takes many years for works to fall into the public domain.
