First Kiss: Act 1, Scene 1
By Jeffrey A. Richards
The downward slope from the upward ascent from the day before;
Morning, fresh and renewed, breath caught, invigorated from nighttime laughter.
The cure from built up stresses, back to nature, the act of simply living simple;
Conversation layered upon layer, building together.
A polarizing connectivity, eye to eye, buzzing with mild flirtations;
“Can I kiss you?”
Small nod, step forward, tilted head as lips pressed, caressing smoothly, a smooth caress;
Twice more, same effect to the affected. Minds ponder at possibilities. Possibilities ponder for many excited reasons.
A Sight only one has; the other acting upon wit and instinct alone.
(To woo the two, the two must be wooed; to join, the two must be free. Settling Mists revealing Desires and Yearning for she.)
A climb not to be forgotten; almost perfect; a mere act in a multiple setting play to be played at another time. A canvas ready to be stroked; colors savored with lustful eyes. Art of creativity, a fantasy set in reality as the pair parted, re-joining their lives (until summoned again).
