At the funeral the little girl looked into the casket
From that day on she’d seen the man come into her room
She never had a friend so she stood silent
Sending prayers wishing she could fly away
Because of the Man that came into her room
He looked at her with hate
So one day she ran away
Ended up broke but not broken
Life but felt lifeless
Until on day she had a daughter named HOPE
Even though no one else could see her but she could
It was before the man came back into her room
Is when she realized she wasn’t that little girl anymore
She could see the man who beat her to have miscarriage
Lying in the coffin with a grin on his face
She threw in a notebook filled with dates
Giving her time to forgive her mom
As she stood with pride
That knowing she had no pain that could stand in her way
And no one could say speak unless spoken too
speak into you have a voice
A sound that could shake the earth
