I’m glad to get out.
Most people attempt what I did
And fail, with a ticket to heaven
As their only reward.
Although I’d rather be there than
I’d never trade it for anything.
-A happy singer
My life lacked an ingredient
Only present in a luminescent soul.
Its factors are unknown but
I know it speaks its sown creole.
My mission will continue
As long as I truly believe.
I have made it this far without blemish,
Somewhere it’s impossible to grieve.
An enduring savor of chainmetal
Within my own functioning scent.
I’m in a world of liquified gas
Cleansing the unevenly bent.
The very sector I set my eyes upon
May or may not get dismantled,
But through the purple bulb
I force the damplight to be channeled.
I turn my head to the point where
My black lenses let light pour in.
Although unseen beauty prevails,
I witness the demise of mortal sin.
I may be just another eccentric star
In the world that I even dare to stand,
But just like in any microcosmic romance,
Love ticks away in the mellowness of the land.
The future will be erased from existence
As the universal clock will forever tick.
Love and hate will forever dwell
In neighboring heavens,
With only a thin wall in between.
I may have failed to lock the door,
But I thickened the wall.
-The unfortunate hero
