Ooh, plot trails everywhere. Which one will we follow?
I like your descriptions, the video camera, the description of the night sky. Can you give me some more about the decor of the hotel? Does it have green carpet? Dated wallpaper? (I’m sure it doesn’t for $300/night, but hey) Is there a weird smell outside your door? Or is it all clean? Too clean?
*hard to breathe (4th paragraph from the end)
Thank you. Thus the need for an editor. This is mostly true, with some added spice, for flavor. It’s amazing how calm I felt roaming a haunted hotel at 2:30 in the morning. I blogged about my stay and someone asked me if the hotel was deserted because on the video you don’t see anyone, except my reflection as I pass by some huge mirrors. Ohhhh that’s good. I’ll have to remember to use the reflection in the story.
I have wandered the halls of a hotel late at night too. My family had to live in a hotel for about 10 days while we waited to close on a house. It’s a strange feeling indeed. You are brave for roaming knowing it was haunted! lol
And yes! Use that reflection! Amp that creep factor! 😀
I made some edits to the story. Check it out, and tell me what you think.
