Good.
Ok.
Two daughters, during a pandemic…
Do I take myself too seriously
Or
Not take things seriously
Enough?
Analyze myself
And get frustrated about it…
Some days think about
Throwing my arms back
And bursting into an unknown quantity
Of energy particles
Like spiritual fireworks;
Or flow
Like magic smoke & dust
Into the breeze
Like cosmic dust…
Whose emotions are these
So strong?
Maybe I’ll curl around this heart
And sleep a bit
May the dreams be good.
How am I doing?
Fine,
I guess.

Wow this poem “How Am I Doing?” was amazing. Loved the rhythm and flow. Really made me feel as if I was watching the cycle of bursting particles and then curling around your heart. Curl around this heart. That’s really gorgeous imagery. Thank You carriehogle for sharing your talent with us.
