If life was meant to be this way
we all had a chance to become the president
so what? I have to swear to say
that I’d be the one to represent
You’ve seen me at my bitter end
and I’m breaking down and crying
over my death will be a gift to be sent
where nobody will see me dying
While I’ve seen you at your worst
and broken down and cried a lot
you’ve been my true friend it hurts
when I see you whining I try to forget
Weaknesses become a distress
when there are knives involved
such a bloody mess
and there’s no mystery solved
If life was meant to be this way
we all had a chance to become billionaires
while our “women” are home taking care of babies
and cooking and cleaning to see snobby people who won’t care
What a disgraceful taste left in our mouths
and this “life” isn’t what I seem to call it
watch out for flying cars in our futures
because technology is becoming more and more advanced
We all owe our lives to our sacrificing parents
breaking their backs to give their offspring a good life
raising them from children to well-mannered adults
while they still strive to give us a good life day to the night
If life was meant to be this way
we all had a chance to say what we wanted
to forget what we’ve learned in school each day
and to become a nobody who’s becoming zombified
