Every day it’s the same,
I’m floating aimlessly as if it was a dream,
I am not afraid of what is to come.
As I float aimlessly into the abyss,
I think of all the things I could have been.
Everyday is same, I know I am alive but feel nonexistent.
This is my abyss I have made it.
Into the madness…

There’s a kind of whimsical feel to this piece, but also distant and empty emotions. I can relate to the feelings drawn up when reflecting on the past and what could have been but never was. It’s often I refer to my own life as ‘madness’, great choice! That word conjures up a familiar scene where people are frantic and nobody has time for anybody.
I like the courageousness of this sentence paired with an optimistic take:
–I am not afraid of what is to come.
–As I float aimlessly into the abyss,
Watch out for missing words that make the sentence sound better when they’re not omitted:
“Everyday is [the] same”, I know I am alive but feel nonexistent.
