Two versions of this, what one is best?
Thought of the day
Something I should to strive for!
In order to be fair and unbiased
One must remain impartial
Considering both sides of an argument
Weighing the evidence of those sides fairly and equally
Only then can one truely reach a fair and just conclusion
In a perfect world this would be possible
But this is not a perfect world
Thought of the day
Something I should to strive for!
Imagine all the people
Being fair and unbiased
Remaining impartial
Considering both sides of the argument
Weighing the evidence of those sides fairly and equally
Reaching a fair and just conclusion
In a perfect world this would be possible
But this is not a perfect world
There is no such thing as 100% perfection. Although we’ll never achieve it, we should strive for it as a country to be better as a people in order to form a more prefect union!

Both of them really hit home with the final “In a perfect world…but this isn’t one” part! I like the build up either way, but they both do well; it all just depends on what kind of impression you’re going for. If you want it to go for something poetic and easy to read through at a glance, then I’d choose the second version. If you want something that feels more formal and declarative, then the first version gives off that impression.
