oh, what pink ash rose
that burst open wide
what balanced the
sacred blue sky
thus
be gentle soon
until
the kind and gentle bloom
when we hear the
Gregorian Chant of the
pink ash rose

Beautiful 🙂
I really appreciate the nice comment.
for effectiveness, I need to show more than tell?

I’m not JetsFan, but I personally think you do a really good job of showing versus telling here. “What pink ash rose / that burst open wide” is really visceral. Perhaps you could expand upon the “kind and gentle bloom” that you discuss later in the poem tho.
