What a wonderful week
Full of beautiful music and wonderful people
The strongest energy I´ve felt in so long
The nicest people I’ve met
The gentlest hand I’ve felt in mine
Your aura kept me feeling safe
Your warmth and embrace helped me through the noise
The late nights talks and early morning coffee
Make me not want to change a thing.
But now I see your picture
And my stomach drops to the floor
Knowing I put my trust in someone
Who never had anything for me
I see you now looking at me
As if you’re looking at a stranger
I hardly knew you
And I’m glad you never got to know me

This is so good! Your happy beginning to the poem and angry and describes my relationship perfectly
I would love to see this poem expanded upon! I like the scenes that you set up here but they pass by so quickly and everything is summarized. It would be interesting to see these moments really fleshed out. The contrast between the two stanzas works super well. Great job!
