Must’ve lost part of my right mind
Can’t scratch out the blurry in my left eye
And my left toes are numb
My left elbow is hurt and hung
No strength to search for it of any kind
Where it went, I guess I don’t know
Been so good at pretending it’s all there
Maybe I let it slowly slip from the day
Perhaps I just drank it away
How can I regain it, that’s for me to show
The sun comes up, the sun goes down
My left eye watches the clock
Time goes so slow and I’m exhausted again
So worried about everything and the next day to begin
It’s nobody’s fault I don’t like this town
I’ll find it when I catch up on some sleep
When I drop these extra pounds
After I make enough money
I’ll find my right mind, funny
All these promises to myself I don’t keep
