It’s best to be cautious with whom you mate for there’s a very thin line between love and hate. Scientist have shown when in emotional states there truly is a thin line between love and hate. The brain’s sub-cortex with its insula and putamen can be activated by either with the state you are in. Polar-opposite feelings yet use similar circuitry, light up the cerebral cortex with how you think of me. You don’t really need science to know how you feel, that a Love-Hate relationship indeed can be real. So be careful while choosing that perfect soul mate, there’s a very thin line between Love and Hate. -Anita Elam FB, Instagram, Twitter: WVPoetrygirl

I really like the scientific syntax here. It totally fits the topic you’re writing about. I will say that I got a little caught up in rhyme scheme for a bit, though. It does a playful ABCB pattern for a few stanzas, then abandons it, then goes back. Was that intentional?
Thank you. Not necessarily abandoned the rhyme, just used indirect rhyme. And yes, I write a lot of lyrical poetry …if interested, check me out on FB or Instagram: WVPoetrygirl
