My sweet Boy, your cries slash my heart open
Sad dew upon your cheeks so wildly spent
But you’re so beautiful when your chest rends
Like delicate pottery, I hold your face in my hands
I’ve never known myself until your soul sang
“Come and hug me close” is what your spirit rang
Reeled in by the call my ears hast drank
My heart found a calm in the air you brang
Romance was a foe to be reviled through Sense
But my own senses have rebelled in your eyes’ rinse
Bathed in your Tenderness, my ghost has died since
Now I rise in your arms a Love-clothed phoenix
Lion to Lamb is such a harsh change
I’ve clawed at any caress that came within range
My precious Dove, taming my burn you’ve managed!
No longer I feel the need for false threats to ravage!
You’ve woven my robe of sweet Embrace
I bashfully don it… I’m not used to such Grace!
Unlike that heavy chain, I’m cuddling in soft Lace
Letting my old beast go as I nuzzle your cute face
I feel so refreshed as if Rain drowned my wounds
Kissing your chest, I let Affection work her swoon
My demon fled to Hell scared by your Heavenly Blue
I now rest peacefully in a reality that was opened up by you
