"Moon"
Sky is lit with the stars big and small,
But it’s the moon that catches my eye .
Even though the stars stay around all the time,
And the moon graces only on and off the sky.
So you are, for whom I will wait till the end,
Don’t care ahead what ever may lie.
Poetry
I really like the sentiment at play here, comparing a wait for someone to waiting out the phases of the moon. Your last sentence could be reworded to help the poem really hit home, though, since I figured out that you probably meant “I don’t care about whatever may lie ahead.” The way it’s written now just meant that I had to take a second to fit the pieces together in my head.
