And I was walking through the woods,
On a warm afternoon.
Saw a camp up ahead,
A man singing a tune.
There was no one else around,
Just a man and his sheet.
Guitar in his hands,
His foot tapping the beat.
I just had to ask
Who it was he was singing to.
Well he just smiled and said
“I was singing for you.
You lost your way in the woods,
And your thoughts grew cold.
Dweld on the sins of the past
And misfortunes of old.
You can see the spirits of many,
Even creatures of fairy tale.
Hear strange sounds every night,
From this land you’ll sail.
You used to want to be immortal,
Obtain the moon and the stars.
Fly past the Milky Way,
Build a Summer home on Mars.
You think you’re losing your mind,
Think you’ve gone insane.
I say normal’s overrated,
Always good to change lanes.
As long as your going the path,
You set from the start.
Even though problems have
Made It seem all torn apart.
But there’s still a light
Burning deep in your heart.
You spread it to all you meet,
Love and care, never apart.”
The words you say are true
And mean alot to me.
I try to find the good in people,
From now to eternity.
I want everyone in the world
To experience what I do.
The love and respect I give,
They should receive too.
You’re each one very special,
And you all can feel
That love for each other
Is so true and so real.
In life there comes a time
To decide our fate.
Do we unify ourselves
Our kill each other in hate?
Do we stretch our living being
Past the Earth?
Where a meteor shower
Is present a every birth.
Don’t be afraid to question all
Even if you think you already know.
If the rabbit hole was big enough,
How far would you go?
I look down to the music,
But the man is gone.
No guitar or even a sheet
For the young man to sit on.
I shake my head and walk home,
Where my love will be.
In our small house,
Patiently waiting for me.
Without my love in my life
It would be an annihilation.
Nothing will detier us,
Or my great Revelation.
