Your Facebook is still up.
It’s been approximately 86 days and your Facebook is still up.
Do those expire when you do or do they stay forever?
In a sick way I want it to stay.
I want it to feel like you’re still there.
Like you can see me repost cat videos.
You’re never going to like them.
But on your feed you’ll never see
they’ll be there
Everyday your feed is still updating
even though you’ll never see it.
Everyday life is still going on
Even though you’ll never see it.
Everyday I’m still living life
Even though you’ll never see it.

This describes what I think when someone has a Facebook and passes away. Interesting take on something we see everyday.
This is an interesting idea! I have thought about this before. I had a friend pass away when I was in high school, and it is eerie whenever I get the notification that it is his birthday. Once in a while, I’ll scroll through my Twitter and Instagram followers and see him in the list and it is a weird feeling. After that happens, I always wonder how many other followers have passed away, as morbid as that sounds. You explored a very unique and interesting idea with this poem and I enjoyed it. Can’t wait to read more from you!
