Start my car early to melt off another April snow. Pour my coffee down the sink and in a minute out the door I go. Grab my lunch, check the lights Lock the door, close it tight and I’m wishing my life away ‘Cause it’s just another one of those Mondays. Country singer tellin’ me I don’t have to be me ‘til Monday. I’d love to just crawl back in bed and not wake up again ‘til Sunday. Where were you Friday night When everything was alright And I didn’t have to wake up bright and early just to fight this Fight Cause it’s just another one of those Mondays. Tired of working all week Just to come home tired. Sometimes I don’t care If the boss says I’m fired. I’ll take it on the chin and and then I’ll start again, ‘cause I can’t stand another one of those Mondays. FB, Instagram, Twitter: WVPoetrygirl www.amazon.com/author/anitaelam
