1) When I was in first grade, my teacher made these paper book-like things. I asked if I could have one to write a story and she gave me one. My first story (more like a series of tiny paper books) was about these four kids (Winter, Jake, and I forgot the other two names) that went on different adventures. I remember one was about finding the Loch Ness Monster, another about going in a time machine and getting swallowed by a T-rex, etc.
2) I love reading other stories and commenting on them. I also love it when people leave comments on my post, whether mean or appraising or helpful. It makes me feel good, that people would take their time to comment on my post
3) I was continuously searching for a way to get my work out there, so this seemed like the best choice.
4) Well, I was looking up “short stories” on Google because I was bored, and I stumbled upon NoahWriting. I actually went through like five email addresses because the system would not send me the confirmation email. I ended up having to create an entirely new one!
i was looking up short stories too! Ive always wanted to share storys and make people happy(even though I have a different personality)
This is such a great idea!
1) I have no idea how I started. I remember writing a story about dogs on vacation or something in elementary school for an assignment. I had such great fun doing it that I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since!
2) My favorite part of this website, honestly, is seeing everyone else’s work. It’s nice to be a part of such an informal writing community — to see writers who aren’t known (yet!) working even though they’re not getting paid for it.
3) I wanted to join this website because there’s such a low barrier of entry. That sounds bad, but it’s good because you don’t have to prove you’re some big accomplished writer to post here. Everyone starts somewhere — why not somewhere so open as here?
4) I think it was late-night Googling that led me here, though I can’t actually remember…
