As I sit deep in thought,
I think about what all we’ve got.
God let us humans be,
To mold the world to the best you see.
He has already provided us with the most,
And he himself came as a host.
Forests of pretty, lush green,
Mountains, rivers and more than we have seen!
Ice, snow, rain and sleet,
And deserts with sweltering heat!
Caves and volcanoes still unexplored,
Earthquakes, tornadoes and thunderstorms that poured.
His kind blessings were all of these,
But greedy man only knew how to seize.
We snatched away Mother Nature’s beauty,
Replaced it with machines – dark and sooty.
Constructed buildings, called ourselves clever,
Nature is fading, will be gone forever.
God’s heavenly gift – is this how we use it,
Kill it, thrash it and throw it in a pit?
The world is dying,
And we sit here lying,
Saying it’s not our fault.
But who to blame,
When the world goes in flames?
Even the smallest can make a change,
Our world it not something we can exchange.
Let’s put our hands together at any cost,
Or else…… god’s beautiful gift will be……
FOREVER LOST!!!
