Val stood over the body of the near deceased. His eyes are started to glow red while Fred sat in the chair that was once behind the desk, now around the desk that is in front of the couch. Fred peddled the coin that was in his pocket when he looked at the female victim that is on the couch before looking at the coin with it tails up. He closed his eyes when Val knelt down a little with his eyes burning red, glowing where the lamp light cannot find them.
He does not know of the world around him anymore.
“I wonder before she dies…” Val glazed at the luscious skin that is around her neck, tracing out the sweetness that Val so desires.
“We can’t save her but I wonder if…” Val felt like he is drunk when Donnie came into the room, pushing him out of this state.
“Are you going to sit here all night? I have a business to open in the morning.” Donnie fetched his thumb behind to where the entire operation stalled for the night.
“Okay.” Val turned his head a little.
“Let’s move her.” He spoke to the former vampire hunter that is behind him. Fred didn’t help when Val came over and grabbed her with no restraint on his strength. He held her like a baby in the fold of his arms when Val went first. Fred followed after as they clocked over the cement of the wharf. Donnie followed behind with something fitted into the back of his pants. It wasn’t welcoming when Fred and Val both stood in front of the doors where they came in the first place. Val notion for Fred to open the door when Fred rolled the knob of the door open and pushed it outward, meeting the outside where there is no spot of rain coming from the sky anymore.
The clouds are in the atmosphere when Fred came out of the docks, pulling the gun out of his pocket with he kept the hammer down on the gun. He looked around the dock as Val followed suit, bringing the woman out when Val got a whiff of something in the air.
“Something is wrong. I don’t like the way this is going.” Val started to feel that darkness behind his eyes when he started walking faster and faster towards the Gran Torino that is nearing the distance. By the time he got to the door he hears the sound of a whistle in the brush when Val cocked his head up.
By the sound of the whistle, the tune is something like, “Let it Be” from The Beetles.
When Val turned and told Fred to get back inside is when a shadow flew into the shape of his back.
“Long time, Val. You still got that ancient piece?” Val knew who it is. It is Hubie Waterston which is the right hand of Luka. Val raised his hands slowly when he spoke to Fred.
“Drop the piece, now.” Val tried to look for Fred but Hubie is scarring him from that view.
“Fred…Do it!” Hubie started to laugh when a few more people came onto the docks, holding automatic weapons at the ready.
“I’ll be getting this from you.” Hubie still choked him when he grabbed his gun and pulled it out of his holster. Val felt the sword being pulled from its sheath when Hubie looked at the sword and laughed at the feel of the blade that is within his hand.
“I can sell a pretty penny for it.” Hubie looked at Val.
“Should I sell it? No, better yet. I should cut the heads off of the Nine that you are working for. How about that that?” Hubie continued to laugh next to his ear when Val started to giggle himself.
“What have you been eating, Hubie? Shit?” Val continued to laugh when Hubie wasn’t laughing or smiling anymore.
“You’re going to get yours, asshole.” Hubie dug his index fingernail into his neck as it started to draw blood. Val groaned when a child’s voice spoke in the distance.
“Not yet, dear. Don’t end his immortal life yet.”
A rapping of soft footsteps came down the planks when they are at introduction to Luka: The Child Princess. She wears boots that goes up above her calves with short shorts wrapped around her waist. The long-sleeve shirt that is over her shirt poked out its red fabric that went down to her hands where she cut holes in it, wrapping the webbings between her thumb and index finger, making stitched gloves around her hands that are bright in the night. Her fingernails are painted in black when she stopped in front of Fred. Her eyes are casted in a dim red that peered into his eyes.
Even in the darkness, people can see the red pupils through the night.
“You’re a murderer. Like me you are. You killed my kind as I’ve killed yours.” Luka came closer, grabbing his crotch when Fred felt odd by the feel of her child hands upon his cock.
“You used this three times on human, one on our kind. You are certainly a man-whore.” Luka slapped him across the face, peeling his skin apart and showing blood on his cheek.
“Oh no, I marked you. You are a long time to heal.” Luka giggled a little when she moved back from Fred and pondered to look at Val that is held tight by Hubie’s grasp.
“It’s been a long time Val. The last time I saw you were in Europe when I diced all your limbs off.” Luka did not smile at Val’s presence when she looked at Hubie. Luka nodded when Hubie commanded what he is told, letting go of Val when he almost dropped to the deck.
“Why are you here in Europe?”
“Got a job; making good money too.” Val smiled when Hubie hit him across the face.
“You are standing in the light of our grace.” Hubie licked the blood off of his knuckles and smiled when Fred thought about doing something.
Luka turned to him with a half-smile on her face.
“I know what you are thinking. I wouldn’t do it either.” Luka shook her head before turning back to Val.
“Did you give him my introduction or were you – stupid as you are that Donnie was on my payroll after all – only looking merely what is in front of you.” Luka placed her hands upon her hips when her eyes continued to burn a dim red.
Donnie was not even in the premise of this. What a coward Donnie is.
“Yes, he knows who you are. You are the evil within us; not letting go and not finding the true answer of what you are doing. You are going to be the doom of us all, your grace.” Val eyed his dim red eyes into Luka’s own dim red eyes.
“Really, what says you after all the times that I got the better of you!?” Luka kicked him in the gut with enough force for Val to double upon his knees. Val coughed a breath before blood started to come out of his mouth.
“What in the hell do you want!?” Fred screamed at her when Luka scampered over and slapped him across the face.
“This is not your place so shut your mouth!” Luka looked up at him with two slices on his face. She is short when Luka left him alone, coming back to Val that is now on his knees.
“This is better for both of us – yes?” Luna smiled, grabbing the top of Val’s head.
“I set a trap for you here tonight so you can watch. I can – cut off all your limbs but that would dull your blade doing it but what I can do to see EVERYTHING burn down is this…” Luka whistled when Hubie presented Val’s blade. Luka pulled it from its sheath, balancing in his hands when she turned the blade over in both of her hands.
“This craftsmanship was made by…What was the smith’s name that forged it?” Luka started to clock her boots around Val in slow-like progression.
“Pot-Mie; no one knows of his existence. Even when Pot-Mie died, I buried him next to his mother as his last wish.”
Luka still clocked her boots around him in a half circle with the blade still in her hands.
“Where did Pot-Mie hailed from?”
Val remembered the lands and remembered them well.
“He lived in the hills of Scotland during the English Monarch Rule.”
Luka nodded her head and didn’t say anymore. The shirt that is over her long sleeve shirt has a Gothic impress of a dead unicorn ironed on the center of it. The unicorn has patches of skin absent along its body when it smiled comically over the darkness. The tip of the unicorn’s horn has glittered purple on the tip of it when Luka knelt down to Val’s ear.
“That is before William Wallace and the rise of Scottish Independence. Am I right?” Luka peered into the profile of Val’s features when Val nodded his head.
“He does forge a really nice blade.” Luke tilted the blade up for some sight of a few seconds before she wound the blade up over her head, sighting Val’s Achilles’ Tendons when she dropped the blade and diced his tendons in two.
