They were meant to be. The way they light up when the other is near. It is like they are in their own little world. Yet they include everyone they knew into it. She never knew that when she made the plan to go to that school that her life would get so much better, or her world so much bigger! As Rose looked to Drake she knew that she was right where she belonged. Now to start at the beginning. Rose Victoria Cox was just sixteen years old when she, and her mother were talking about options for her schooling. Even though she was already going to her local public high school, (Which other then her friends, she loathed with a passion.) she wanted to get out of her little town. Her mother held the ticket to her freedom (in her young eyes).
“Rose are you sure you want to go to Job Corps? It will be very hard to be away form your family you know.” Her mother asked her carefully if we were all speaking honestly, Her mother really wanted to say, “Rose don’t go. We will get your GED instead. I am not ready to see my baby fly from the nest just yet.” But she didn’t She knew that Rose had to make this tough decision on her own.
