People Are Like Safety Pins.
Most stick by you and hold you up.
Some will poke you and bother you.
They can shine in the light.
They can shine in the darkness.
People could just as well get lost and fall away.
They can become unhinged.
They can rust and fall far from the light.
I know it sounds rather strange, but,
When you see a Safety Pin, please take care of it,
Because it will take care of you
If you neglect it, lose it, and let it fall from light,
It will not stick to you or support you.
Friends can be like Safety Pins.
People Are Like Safety Pins.
