Context: Written by an ordinary lady and a scared mom touched by a verdict against a rape victim in the modern world. (A current verdict in Italy moved her).
Shame On Us
Shame, shame, you are girl still you look ugly;
Shame, shame, you are a girl still your skin color in not gorgeous;
Shame, shame, you are a girl though you got a masculine body;
Shame, shame, you are a girl through your look is unattractive;
Shame, shame, how an un-attractive lady can be raped by men;
Shame, shame to you why can’t you protect yourself when someone tried to fuck you;
Shame, shame to you why didn’t you hide your scar beneath your skin and just don’t laugh at it;
Shame, shame, why you went to court and seek your legal right in the court once you get raped?
Shame to our insane society and insane legal system who think only an attractive lady can only be raped?
Shame, shame to our thinking pattern, who always think like a lady you have to be gorgeous and beautiful in the eye of men;
Shame on us, who think instead of protecting a torn -up rape victim it is better to protect and save the motherfucker rapist;
Shame to our civilization who raised these moralities among us;
Maybe, it is a moment of shame to every mom, every girl, every lady in the world to be raised in part of this society;
Maybe, it is a shame time to our Mother Earth who is unable to protect her own and her girl’s every moment from a rapist.
