She’s back.
She has a huge, evil smile on her mouse-like face.
She’s back.
She made the Extended Day program even more hellish than it already is.
She’s back.
The one who caused me to cry each night, wondering why we deserved such cruelty.
For a while she was with the younger kids. I felt bad for them. But then I saw her straight blonde hair, her wide hips, her confident stride, her mouse-like face as she called into our classroom; “EDP!”
My friend, new to the works of EDP, didn’t understand our worry, or distress. She’d never met her.
She’s back.
Hopefully not for good.
Note:: Okay guys, I’m legitimately terrified right now. She is literally the worst teacher (whatever u wanna call the people who look after us hellions in EDP) in history. She yells at us for no reason and punishes us randomly. She’s not worse than my substitute last year (my teacher was out because she had a baby), but she’s definitely second. Fingers crossed, wish me luck!

I was sure you were talking about a student before I read your note. Did you mean to keep it ambiguous? I like it that way.
Actually, I did not. But I’m glad you enjoyed my piece!
This is kind of funny after reading your note at the end. I’ve had quite a few horrible substitute teachers, but the worst was a proctor we had for standardized testing. You’d think it wouldn’t be that bad because she wasn’t actually teaching, but her overall personality and demeanor felt cold and threatening. It was not the best thing for stress levels! I made it through her, and you’ll be fine too. Good luck!
Thank you! I’ll need it.
Oh man, I know what you mean here. I’ve had some bad teachers and subs so I understand. (also i think you did a good job getting the dread across with the repetition.) I hope everything goes well for you!
Thank you so much!
