It was in the middle of a cold winter’s night, just below zero with freezing temperatures. The icicles screamed in pain from frost bite, dangling from the trees up above her lifeless body. The midnight breeze flew by her face, as it scuffed away her beauty like it was easy. She was exhausted. The wind has been scraping, and scratching at her lungs for the longest time. She could hardly breathe. If her feet wouldn’t give out soon she knew her heart would fail to beat once more. It was shattered and dissembled, broken completely in a million pieces. Surprised it held out this long. Mind was too tired to keep grieving, throat to sore for more screaming, eyes to swollen for weeping. She knew she had to keep going but her will power was fading away like the nights darkness that hid her so well. But her pale complexion gave her away, white as a ghost. It blended in with the snow as she collapsed breathlessly and helplessly into it. She could still feel the beast’s breath all over her and on her naked neck. So hot and wet it made her shiver and shake. Such a foul smell clung to its being. She couldn’t get the stench out of her nose. And the look in her lovers eyes as he laid there bleeding to death. The wounds too dry for more bleeding, so deep he was almost split in half with such miraculous force and quickness. His blood stained her now tainted hands. She could not free her mind of the sights and smells of what just happened only moments ago. She could still remember his tight grip he gave her frail tiny quenched hands, so tightly and yet gently grasp of her hand. As Lilly’s hands were now drenched with crimson red as his slipped out of her reach forever. She fled the crime scene in such a hurry, with fear and hatred berried in her heart for doing so. He protected her and she couldn’t do it back, all she has now was his last word “Live” as it echoed in her mind and subconscious. Lilly can still recall the crackling of the bones and flesh that got teared and ripped to shreds at her feet. In the snow beneath her, and with the splattering of his blood on her entire body as she was drenched. The now red hot blood tainted snow that will soon be cold once more, as she fell helplessly into it. Drifting away into what she thought was a never ending sleep, dormant for all eternity. And just memories of a horrific nightmare of every feeling she had encountered since a child, seep its way into her all at once.
Finally summer had once again returned. Everything was blooming and full of life again. Lilly was eager to start her day. Now that it had become her sixteenth birthday. Today would hopefully start a new fresh year for her life. She would like to start her days out with a swim when she could. Today was perfect for swimming. The sky was perfectly dim and orange, as it made its way up the horizon. The morning air was moist leaving dew everywhere to sparkle like diamonds scattered over the landscape. She tried to enjoy these small wonders. But still her heart would always be heavy with the past lingering around, and with her mind still haunted. As an infant being born into this mysterious world, some baby’s experience joy, love and happiness while others get loneliness, heartache and fed fear. Her young beautiful mother full of life and love for everything, she had a pure soul. With a eager heart to share her joy with a little unborn daughter as she awaited her arrival. Lilly Dawn a name for a free spirit like herself is what she named the growing child inside her womb. But on that fateful night Lilly’s mother’s body gave out on her and she died during child birth. Her body couldn’t handle the pain, but she still managed to smile until the end. As she held her beloved for the first and last time, even if only for a moment that was enough for her. The town was different than Lilly and her mother in their views on life. They were bitter and crude people. Hated Lilly’s mother for being the only happy person left in their small far away town, hidden by trees for miles on end. Everyone despised Lilly for killing her mother in cold blood her first day into this world. Told her she was cursed into the darkness. All her life she felt unwanted, and abandoned by all who was around her. Even her own father wanted her gone. He saw her mother in her and couldn’t bear to be around her or look at her. He drank himself to sleep a lot and always made Lilly stay in her room, or to be outside. She chose the outside because she loved nature’s beauty and wonders of the unknown. The lake was perfectly calm where she lived no one around to bother her so she could ease her mind from the terrible memories she has to hide from every day. As she slowly walked to the warm water that satisfied her soul and put her mind at peace. Nothing could touch her now. She felt safe with the world. The water was something keeping her warm that surrounded every inch of her entire body like she was important. Besides moments in the waters embrace she enjoyed jogging and to run nonstop going nowhere but somewhere to be free. Sometimes Lilly would run so fast that it was as if she’d almost escaped her town’s limits and passed the boarder to abyss. But today was the day to do something different and swim across the lake to the other side. Maybe there’s something better over there. Maybe a new life for her to escape this terrible messed up town that is out for her destruction and waiting for her to crack. She started out easy one arm strokes and small kicks, but she then got over excited in ecstasy and took it to the extreme. She was going at a fast exhausting pace, moving quick with her kicks and arm strokes. She managed to get to the middle of the lake and her leg started to cramp up. It then gave out on her and she started to panic. She screamed for help to the boats that were fishing, but no one cared to even glance her way. Tears fell nonstop from her baby blue eyes. Her body felt heavier and heavier and it started to become a burden to her. She could barely keep herself above water for much longer. A young man named Jimmy begged and pleaded with his father to go save her. He simply just sat there and said to him. She’s a mirage in our world and with her gone we can be at peace once more. Hate began to build up in Jimmy’s heart as his heart started to ache. For the first time he knew his dad was cold hearted and cruel. Within a moments time he jumped into the filthy tainted water that no longer has a blue tint, but a sea green color. He swam as fast as he could to her side but by the time he got to her she already fell under sinking deep into the darkness where it all began. He dove into the darkness not knowing if he’ll find her. He was the light in her life, the pure soul she longed for so long. Somehow through the disgusting lake water he found her tiny hand reaching out, for nothing and found his by accident. Or by fate? She gave his hand the tightest grip she had left in her, her savior. As she held onto him for dear life and he wouldn’t have had it any other way. Clung close to him digging her nails into his back and he didn’t care. Jimmy Knew she was frightened and she was so small for her age. Young and beautiful with deep red lips like she wore makeup, though she didn’t. She hung onto him tightly the whole way back to shore where she first began. She started to wonder how he knew where her cloths were on shore where he brought her back to. She found herself asking the question out loud. He smiled as he answered, “I have been watching you from afar for quite some time now. You caught my eyes and took them hostage in your own.” At that moment she knew he was her first love, and last hope of true happiness. To know the real feelings of love, and to be able to receive and return it was all she ever wanted and hoped for. Jimmy gave her life a meaning finally. The meaning to want to live, out of the dark and into the light.
She started to awaken from her slumber of nightmares of this cruel world’s sickness and despair peering into the darkness confused to whether she opened them at all. Then the pain hit her and she was freezing to death, her fingers and hands were numb along with other parts of her body. She knew she had to get up out of the snow or she’d die of frost bite. Something she promised her love she wouldn’t do at all costs. Fear and hatred is all she now knows, she recalled horrific sights and sounds of her lover repeatedly in her mind all twisted and mangled. She had no time to mourn her recent loss. Even though she was dyeing inside, instinct kicked in. She found enough strength to stand. Still exhausted the memory’s seemed to fuel her body. She pushed herself out of the snow with her body in so much pain; from being almost frozen. She stood in complete agony to only look at the hole of lifeless snow that would have been her tomb of death. She scurried forward on a never ending journey through the endless woods going nowhere. When she heard that fatal sound she was found. She knew she couldn’t run forever and now was her time. He came from up above swiftly and cunningly so fast she only saw a glimpse of him in the corner of her eye. He swooped down past her mere inches behind her as though he meant to miss. So suddenly she was frozen still in fear, heart almost pounding out of her chest. She could hear every beat so loud echoing in her ears. The beast crept toward her and in a blink of the eye left his mark of three gashes down her innocent back. Wounds so deep she could bleed to death. In the snows cold embrace again she turned on her back trembling fiercely as she hoped the cold snow would help to ease the pain, and to get a look at her killer that put this hate in her that burned its way in her heart. That was about to beat no more as she hesitated waiting for the finishing blow. This midnight the fright floats like a mist thick and alive looking for blood, blood to stay alive. She waits and anticipates, she knows those teeth are coming, coming to feast and she does not fight but instead welcomes the claws. At last just like in the past they once again meet. She knew it wasn’t right but unlike the last time she put up no resistance. Blood drained and life gained as he filled himself with her essence and inside him it showed its presents. She drank from his metallic blood and completed the task as she became immortal. To live forever at last the worst blood thirst that brought them together and will keep it that way. They hunt every night and sleep away their days. Lilly the monster they all said. Now here she comes for revenge on them all.
Darkness peak is at its strongest when the lights weakest and hides in the shadows. Only peering in just to watch as the blood bath show is about to begin. Death was only Lilly’s beginning as she was reborn into a different realm to a new world that awaited her arrival not knowing what they were in for. Her human state of mind still lingered somewhere locked in her subconscious hidden deep beneath her inner core where her heart used to beat its rhythm. She could no longer feel the cold still drenched in blood as she realized her wounds have vanished before she came to. As a new newborn killer she felt the same emotions and pain as she before, it still haunted her breaking open on the inside. Her master also abandoned her after her creation was completed without a word. Left all alone again Lilly cried a loud screeched pitch scream into the dark endless night. It echoed furiously for miles on end even the crows flew away to it. As she dropped to the ground shaking in fear as to what she should do next. Instantly Jimmy’s image of his face and smile came to her like an apparition that flashes right before her eyes. Tightly clenching her fists she began to run following her old bloody trail that was fading as the snow kept falling. Without realizing how fast she could run Lilly got to what she remembered to be the crime scene where her lover had died. Wanting so badly to see his face just one last time. But Jimmy’s corpse was no where’s to be found, it disappeared. Many emotions built up of hatred, betrayal and sorrow ran wild and then finally Lilly cracked into a million pieces. Her human half vanished as her eyes turned bright crimson glowing red as she slowly went insane. Trying to fight the battle of the beastly instinct, her human self-evaporated. She had become a wild animal with no control over herself or her actions that she was about to partake in. Scratching and breaking down trees in a whim with her bare hands. With wounds that healed instantly, and with rapid speed. Very destructive not knowing the limit of her new powers. In a rampage she was determined to get her revenge on the entire town but most of all her father, he was her first target. In this lifeless empty porcelain body that’s wandering around amongst the living. Lilly’s body contained no soul it was now just a vessel to the demon inside of her that took possession as she crumbled, no longer capable of knowing right from wrong. Filled with extreme rage and resentment towards Jimmy, only he could save her this one last time. Parents are meant to love and adore their children and bring a sense of security into their lives. But she was pushed aside in all her years alive. Such a burdened life force in her father’s eyes. She was nothing and meant nothing to him. She was going to return the favor and slaughter them all. No remorse or tears she’d drown them in a million of their sins as their memories wither away. All that will be left is their decaying bodies, meeting the worms in the graves that they made for themselves. They’re already considered dead and meaningless things left to rot in the earth’s soil. Reaching the outskirts of town standing at the brim of the forest she realized she over exerted her body’s limit. With extreme hunger she never felt before her insides were turning, she couldn’t stand the unbearable battle that burned within her in this weak state. With the sun starting to make its appearance as the long horrifying night came to a halt, Lilly decided to rest and go to sleep to regain her strength. Burrowed underneath a few tree trunks next to a newly made dam where Jimmy saved her life in the water straight ahead. She smiled herself asleep, recovering a tiny fragment of love that seemed too surfaced. Memories buried inside, she tries to hide them all. For on the next night fall she will destroy them all, the night is now hers to have.
Summer days and nights seemed to emerge into one as it passed by so much more quickly. More and more Jimmy opened Lilly’s kindred heart. Both new to the feeling of love, not knowing and understanding it completely. So desperate to be together at all cost. They met up in secret, for the actions he did by saving her, Jimmy was scolded by his father who threatened to do her harm. His heartless words made Jimmy want her even more. Though deep down fear fed his heart with much grief, for if they were found out what would really happen to her. It tared him apart, but disappeared every time he saw her smile nothing else mattered. His concern for her grew to despair for everyday Lilly had new bruises on her body. It became harder for her to hide them from jimmy’s eye sight. Her father began to constantly beat on her, wasted with the foul odor of liquor on his breath. He tried to mold her into a good girl and be unsociable; he told her they were only going to hurt her in the end. The only attention in a long time she got from her father was his abusive beatings he inflicted upon her. All Jimmy could do was hold her close to him and let her cry in his arms, but lately she no longer did so. Like she acted as if it was a natural occurrence and it’s her punishment when that was far from the truth. As he runs his hands threw her hair they can pull closer to one another in excitement of the wondrous touch of the human body effect.
