Help me
I feel so lonely
I’m stranded
While you’re so freed
Nobody to love
No worship above
Help me, dear Lord
I’ll send SOS with every word
I am helpless
And shipwrecked
I am stranded
So abandoned
Forgive me for docking
And these seagulls flocking
I felt like a pirate
Without such a thing as private
Lord, please forgive me
And I landed so abruptly
What does it take for freedom?
God I want to have mercy in your kingdom
Hopefully, I’ll be so free
But that’s mistakenly
I won’t take it for granted
My wish is to get off this island
But I choose to be free
What’s it got to take for me?
I’m done with this island for good
And I am seeking you only as my God
Haven’t we all seek your graciousness?
But ye which have sinned should have painfulness
You’re merciful and mighty God
And I want to be in your image not forgot
Have mercy on me faithfully
And I want to be off this island freely
But I am stranded without hopeful
But if I don’t get off soon it’ll be an earful
Luckily I have been saved lately
And I am off the island so greatly
I thank those who helped me off
Saved by a Jewish crew – Mazel tov
Thankfully they understood my situation
And I’ll never seek to go to that island again
For it wasn’t my fault, my ship had sunk
I’ll remember the crew of which I had to thank
