It was cruel, harsh and almost torture to live in the town Pepper did. Black uniformed guards always marched on the long boundary(which stretched for miles and miles) who kept them by force out of the beautiful world beyond. She wished to climb over it, to see the universe as it should be. A place where life is joyful and sweet. But many people killed those thoughts. As her years grew to seventeen she decided she must do something. Would she and her mother be able to climb the icy wall of death or would they receive a martyr’s sentence? It all changed when she met Falcon, a boy her age who worked in the once Secret Ground Agency, which enabled innocent families to escape beneath the barrier itself. He could be the answer to the only remaining town’s prayers. Pepper said(from the book), “Is my dream coming true? Or is…..it…it a nightmare?” P.S.Please comment for the whole book or like me if you wish to read more From:Gen1900

I know this was posted a while ago, but I just got to reading it. More please! I love anything about sci-fi/ dystopian secret agencies.
Hi there, Gen1900!
I agree with LindsayB. You should post more on your story here.
I think that it has tons of potential. From your summary, it seems to have a Margaret Atwood “A Handmaid’s Tale” meets Milton’s “Paradise Lost” meets “The Hunger Games” sort of feel. I’d really enjoy reading more to see if I continue to get the same vibes.
Plz update more!
I’m glad you posted 2 parts already! Please don’t leave us in suspense for long!
I can only write so fast! But I’ll try my best not to disappoint!
