The Great Titanic
Copied and typed but not written by: Gen1900
Some unpublished details of the sinking of the Titanic, one of the greatest luxury liners, reveal the power of an all-just God.
Some workers, in order to belittle the faith of their Catholic companions, inscribed on the hull of the vessel all kinds of curses and sacrilegious jokes. “Not even Christ could make it sink.” On one side of the water-line, in enormous letters were the words, “No God, No Pope.” On the other side: “Neither earth not heaven can swallow her up!”
The words, “No God, No Pope, ” were literally cut in half by the iceberg that knifed the ship where they were written.
After that blow, the metal bulkheads were flooded and considered useless.
Even Commander Smith was proud to say the blasphemous words at the last dinner.
So the career of the Titanic began in impiety and was halted during its first and last voyage and extinguished like a fire of straw.
