It’s one of those days
Daunted by plague
As we search
For a diamond in the dirt
Then at its epitome
Dormant in the body
Comes an epiphany
Playing like a symphony
Consuming our anatomy
So overwhelming
Yet liberating
Is it intuition
Volition
Residing in our hearts
Or an act of contrition
For the trials of the dark
Feeling weightless
Shattering limits
No more stress
Becoming limitless
I don’t know how
But I feel it now
Can’t explain what I’m experiencing
But it lingers
Like Tai Chi
On the tips of my fingers
It’s blinding behind my eyes
Light shines
And I believe
That tomorrow will be bright
It’s always darkest
Before the light
