There is something monstrous about you
something really strange, I can’t keep my finger
on it and it fearfully rocks my brain.
My heart is scared to be alone
I loved you by my side but once you let your demons out
all I want to do is hide.
The monster you’ve became is getting stronger
it doesn’t know its own strength, when will it stop
when will i again feel safe.
The monster you’ve became knows no bounds
it knows just what to do, I wish I could be happy but
I want to be happy here with you.
The monster you’ve became is getting scarier
it’s fearful to think about but if the monster snaps inside you
what will you do when you take me out.
I thought you really loved me, I thought you really cared
but the monster inside you has taken over
and you are never there.

Wow I really loved this poem! You rhyme scheme and rhythm is so powerful. This is defiantly a poem you should read out loud at an open mic.
I do have a few suggestions! In the second stanza second line you should put a comma before but, so that the reader can hear a pause. Another thing, the second to last stanza needs some work on. The rhyme doesn’t match the rest of your poem. It sounds rushed and out of place.
However, these are only suggestions. Your poem was amazing! I can’t wait to read more from you.
