The Travel of the Leaf
One day in the middle of autumn, a bright little leaf decided to break from the captivity of the tree;
It wanted to be free! Free! Nothing but free!
It wanted to soar, it wanted to fly!
But the wind told the leaf otherwise.
The leaf blew away, by blue skies, across blue seas;
It sighed sorrowfully, as it watched itself being released.
But then something happened, quite marvelous in fact;
The little red creature landed perfectly on a coat rack.
It was outside a store! What a store it was!
The inside was covered in colors of blue, green, and all sorts of beautiful flaws!
This was where the leaf wanted to be;
And it didn’t care if it would be a part from the tree;
Because it was radiant, joyous, and perfectly happy.

This is my poetry, not my best work but hope you think otherwise.
I was hoping for a nature theme soon! Very well done.
Cute! I love Autumn poetry.
Thank you very much 🙂
