This is it
This is the moment that I’ve been waiting for
I’ve dreamt, no! I’ve scoured the depths of my mind to get here
Battling a declaration of doubt instilled from the dawn of time
I did it
I achieved the unimaginable
I hurdled over the obstacles stacked so high
That have ramshackled values of quietude
That have kept me insomnolent during the witches hour
Astonishing could it be done? Am I capable? Am I adequate to follow pursuit?
I sat through the jokes, the laughs, and the stale faces that spoke volumes
Atlas, I’ve played the jester. I procured the role and learned it so skillfully that it felt concrete
28 years and I still feel that blade that cuts past the epidermis to the subcutaneous tissue
A wound I carry so delicately yet elegant that it is virtually obscured
I am abundant
I am
I did it
I achieved the unimaginable
