Liam and Ethan sat on the top of the roof for a little bit. After a while,
Liam got up, now standing on the roof and said, “I don’t think I can sit here for much longer. This roofs surface is quite rough and annoying to sit on.”
Ethan laughed and stood up as well, saying, “I agree, why don’t you write into existence a more comfortable platform and some objects that can help us defeat those things?”
Liam thought about it. “You know, that could work! That’s a really great idea, how’d you come up with it?” He asked.
“I dunno. It felt kind of like the right thing to do.. I don’t know why though.” Ethan replied.
“That’s okay! It’s time for me to begin a bit of writing.” Liam said, taking out his pencil. He took out his pencil and first wrote, “The roof Liam and Ethan stood on transformed into a more comfortable to sit on area rather than an uncomfortable rough surface”. The roof changed instantly and flickered a bit, however, only Liam noticed this changed and decided to keep it to himself thinking of it as a simple hallucination due to lack of sleep. Ethan sat down on the new surface.
“That’s much better. When do you think those insane people will return?” Ethan asked.
“I don’t know. But these tools I am about to write into existence will certainly help against them.” Liam said in confidence.
He wrote down, “Several weapons appeared near Liam and Ethan, the weapons could stun anyone and anything for eight hours”. The weapons appeared and flickered a bit. Liam then noticed the pencil growing a bit dull and looked at it carefully. He continued writing more weapons into existence. However, when he wrote the last sentence before the pencil went dull, the weapons appeared then vanished in an odd flicker.
“Was that supposed to happen..?” Ethan said sounding a bit worried.
“Ummm.. I don’t think so.” Liam responding with a bit of fear in his voice.
A large crack sounded in the distance and Liam and Ethan watched in horror as a mob of people surrounded a house in the distance and worked together to tip it over, causing glass to shatter and the wood and bricks of the house to be destroyed.
“We have to run!! Grab the weapons and go!! We’ll figure out how to fix the pencil later! Hurry!!” Liam said quickly, picking up several weapons he wrote into existence and then began running as fast as possible, hoping Ethan was running behind him.
