Wedding vows represent more than rings, love, and the same bed, the wedding vow is a solemn promise before God and man of a love grown sincere that wishes forever or “till death do us part!”
“Till death do us part”
I meant every word
soul and heart
feelings and emotions stirred
your wedding dress floated
as down the isle
my one and only chosen
the building quiet
the beginning of our life
as our wedding vows partook
“For better or worse”
love like fever overtook
tears about to immerse
my body like a leaf shook
looking eye to eye each moment
minister such words spoken
the realization ..you was my woman
the restless seconds soon my wife
as a dream so intense
a vow, “till death do us part,” nothing less!
“In health and in sickness”
our bond with words sincere
a vow and promise not taken reckless
our souls soon woven like a garment wear
seems impossible, but two become one
when finally the words, I do
you so beautiful, hoping to you handsome
as a cool breeze your love over me blew
everything in and out of my body knew
“till death do us part,” love always be the view
“You may kiss the bride now”
I pull the veil ..and beauty unleash
most wonderful girl this gown
one beside me her tender hand reach
as lips so softly touch heaven
clouds of sweet glory taste
I want this kiss to last forever
words our vow never to waste
our body and soul to each surrender
till death do us part ..forever remember!
