It’s all you have in this life
Funny, you can’t get enough of it
It heals, so they say
It steals your youth away
Not anything you can do about it
It goes so slow when you’re anxious
It flies when you’re having fun
Reality says it just keeps moving along
Same pace, it’s your perception that’s wrong
For some it ends and for others, it’s just begun
What you do with it makes no difference to anyone
You can squeeze in all you can
Some sit and watch it go by
Some make the most of it because they try
Only a fool believes it can be controlled by a hand. . .
