You can see the hardness-
That comes from all the dirt.
You can see the harshness,
But you can’t see the hurt.
You may judge me harshly-
I really do not care-
For you, and people like you-
All helped to put it there.
You can’t know the loneliness-
I feel when in a crowd-
Nor feel the deep frustration
That I’ll never speak aloud.
So, tend to your own business,
Is my advice to you-
I’ll take advice from Shakespeare-
To my own self be true.

That’s good advice. There are people going to like you and then those who are not. No sense worrying about things you can’t change. Good poem and great advice.
