The truth is this
You can’t take anything with you when you go
It’s best to be simple
To distance yourself from material stuff, you know
Enjoy the people you’re with
And the sun and the day
Enjoy each minute because
You never know when one gets taken away
The glass may be half empty
but make it half full anyway
take those lemons you get
And fill that glass with lemonade (I know, cliche)
Money is money
And somehow I’ll get what I need
But what I want, money can’t buy
And THAT’S the only thing I can take with me when I die. . .
