Everyone stumbles. Everyone wonders if what they are doing is the right thing to do.
Well, life is a tunnel. A really wide tunnel. Dark and impossible to see.
There are three main types of people, with many variables.
The first type holds a torch. Lights up their feet so they can see where they are going. Often times they get lost in a corner. Other times they find the exit and make their way out without tripping too much, as they could see what they are doing.
The second type follows the one holding the torch. Unable to think for themselves but selfishly follows letting others guide them for them.
The third type is the smartest one, in my personal opinion. This character does not hold a torch. They stumble and trip and hurt themselves. Some kill themselves trying to reach the end. However, this type is not blinded by their feet. Instead of a torch drowning the light at the end of the tunnel. They, instead, allow the tunnel to illuminate itself so the end goal is clear. They head the right direction. Dangerous. Hazard full. Alone. But guided by truth and what is right. They see the others walking about with their torches. Aimlessly wondering in circles. This path is slow.
In the end you have to decide how you wish to navigate the tunnel of life. How long you take to reach the exit to the after. Or, if you get stuck in a corner.
Me? I plan to stop along every one I see and help them in the right direction.
Take your time or not, either way the end goal is still the same for everyone. And in the dark, we all look the same.
