Every word you say
Is like a bitter taste
Left and forgotten
In all your mistakes
Why didn’t you leave me
The second you thought about killing me
Don’t you dare try to say you love me
I know you fucking don’t
I know all your lies
All the lies you hide behind
All the skies we dreamed upon
They were all a trick to get me out of my mind
To let you control my life
To get everything you want
I say be happy
But do I really mean it?
I say sweet dreams
When I send the monsters in the night
I want to haunt your dreams
But I don’t really mean that much to you do I?
Every word you say
Is like a bitter taste
Left and forgotten
Is where my soul shall stay
In all your mistakes
Dress up nice and pretty
But not in the red color
The blood will seep all over it
Blending in when I want to ruin it
Wear white
Like the wedding color
Since you promised to stay forever
But wait you will be tainted in whatever ruins I was left in
You leave
Break the promise you have made the second its been said
And don’t look back on what has made you mine
Every word you say
Is like a bitter taste
No matter how much I wash it out
It always comes back
Sometimes I wish
We never kissed
Cause now I taste you.
In every dreamless sleep
Is all the mistakes you have made, that keep me awake.

Nice use of refrain! I also think bc you didn’t use enjambent it gave the poem the ability to just overflow with feelings, which is how I imagine the speaker must feel.
