Sky bathes in stars as I bathe in sweet tears
No help-lines to extinguish the flaming fears
Life rebels to Black moth who courts my fires here
Testing each hot degree as if Suicide was a peer
One more sob to shake the sharded gardens
Red Rose’s blush revile my Patience for the one
Petal’s a dewdrop’s vessel; her Rain’s tears now gone
As wet angels fly to parent clouds, they say Anguish won
The domed Firmament resounds in sad ambassadors
Rebounding throughout the sphere of a void core
All men take ear, but in vain decrypt the door
Of the despairing message from a loveless moore
My body ne’er enough water to furnish a river
So I wade in my tiny brook till sick I shiver
Yet I hear the sweet voice that makes me quiver
Dimensions shattered by your voice of manly caliber
I swear I hear you… Calling my soul by name!
Failure to locate the herald blankets me in Blame
Is my heart too dumb, or too damaged and lame?
To walk toward your arms and rest as your dame?
Can you come find me and tend my wept wounds?
Wrap me in your blanket under the gentle Moon?
If Desire beckons you so, fly to my crying heart soon
And sweep me in your Care, away from Agony’s ruin
