I can see the image so vividly.
A wooden porch with complete symmetry.
Two wicker chairs and a small coffee table.
Our minds connected by an invisible cable.
A foggy grey morning as we sit in silence;
One that is not awkward but instead is timeless.
We are two vessels with the same mind.
One mind that can see, though those around are blind.
Staring out into the wilderness or the city, whichever you prefer,
But regardless of the setting we hear the birds churr.
The warm coffee mugs in our hands.
Us and the world separated by one-way dams
We are silent observers of life in our bubble.
Enjoying our view like time has stopped around us, amongst the rubble.
Every piece mid fall
But we watch it all.
Unaffected;
yet connected.
Omniscient we sit at our post thinking we can be anything.
Then we realize we are everything.

This is a beautiful poem – I love how you set the scene right away and give us vivid imagery. I also really like the title of the poem – it is what originally made me interested and prompted me to click on it. My only suggestion, and this is more of a personal preference, is to not rely as heavily on a formal rhyme scheme in your poetry. The fact that every line rhymes with the one before it is distracting and makes the poem come off sing-song-y. If you do like working with rhyme and the structure it brings, I would suggest trying out slant rhyming and different schemes like ABC-BCA for example, not just a standard AA-BB-AA-BB scheme. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this poem and I look forward to reading more from you!
